STICam / WINDOWS + ANDROID

Your Android phone. Your Windows webcam.

Use the camera you already have for video calls and recording. STICam connects an Android phone to a Windows 11 PC over USB or trusted local Wi-Fi, then makes it available as a Windows virtual camera.

Free to use · Proprietary freeware · Windows host + Android app

BUILT FOR THE EVERYDAY SETUP

One useful job. A few ways to do it.

01

A camera Windows can use

Select STICam in a compatible app such as OBS, Zoom, Teams, or Discord after the preview is ready.

02

Choose your connection

Use a USB/ADB connection at your desk, or trusted local Wi-Fi when a cable is inconvenient.

03

Frame and adjust

Use on-device auto-framing and supported camera controls from the Windows host. Available controls depend on the phone.

BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD

Check your setup.

Install both halves of the product. The Android app does not replace the Windows companion.

  • Windows 11 22H2 (build 22621) or newer.
  • Android 8.0 (API 26) or newer.
  • Both the Android app and Windows installer from the official release.
  • A data-capable USB cable, or access to the same trusted private network.

FROM DOWNLOAD TO CONNECTED

Make the first connection.

Follow our step-by-step STICam setup guide, with an ID / EN language choice, or use the official instructions for your release.

Full setup documentation ↗
  1. Download the Android APK and Windows installer from the same official release. Verify the published SHA-256 checksums before installing.
  2. Install and open STICam on the phone and PC. The Windows installer supplies its required runtime and virtual camera.
  3. For USB, enable USB debugging, connect the phone, and approve the PC debugging prompt. Choose USB on both apps and select the intended device.
  4. For Wi-Fi, use the same trusted private network. Choose Wi-Fi on Windows, click Connect, and enter the displayed PC IP in the Android app.
  5. Start the stream on Android. When the preview is ready, select STICam as the camera in your meeting or recording app.

GOOD TO KNOW

Before you ask.

Do I need an account or subscription?

No STICam account is needed. STICam is free to use under its proprietary freeware terms; it is not an open-source app.

Does it work on macOS or an iPhone?

This setup is for an Android phone and Windows 11 PC. Do not assume support for other operating systems.

Can I use it for an important meeting immediately?

First check that your target app detects STICam, then test your actual lighting, camera, and connection. Device behavior and network quality vary.

READY TO TRY IT?
